HOW WE STARTED
It all began in a simple garage …
The Scrapbook Korner was established in 1999 by sisters Bette Kohv and Cheryl Storrer in a garage. Being so passionate about their new endeavor, they thought about ways to grow.
THE BIG MOVE
2001 brought new opportunities.
The sisters decided to make the big move in 2001 when Wyse Book closed their doors. Still their location today, they moved into the storefront at 1405 S. Defiance St.
OUR BUSINESS GREW
… And The Expansion Began.
2008 was a big year for Bette. Moving to the south side of the building meant more space in a better location to expand and grow her business beautifully.
TRAGEDY STRUCK
In 2018, a loss changed it all.
Upon Bette’s unexpected death in 2018, her daughter and son-in-law moved the business back to the north end of the building, where they were able to merge it with their business, Party Expressions.
WE CONTINUE TO GROW
Find Your New View was founded.
Fast forward to 2022, when Cheryl decided to buy back The Scrapbook Korner, adding in her furniture restoration business & began selling Fusion Mineral Paints & Dixie Belle Paints for people to create their own crafting & furniture masterpieces.
BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
Now, it’s all under one roof.
The space also houses Cheryl’s real estate branch office for Reiser Realty, LLC, with the main office being in Napoleon, Ohio owned by Broker Kyle Moore, as well as a display area for the innovative Fibo shower system, with contractor Dan Storrer, distributor for Northwest Ohio.
